The Faaker Lake close to Villach is the perfect place for beach and active holidays. In summer, the light blue coloured lake at the foot of the Mittagskogel warms up to 28 degrees. The beach area at Faak is a 2-3 minutes ride away from our house and it is free of charge for our guests. You can swim in the lake or rent stand-up paddle boards. There are many different hiking trails for beginners and advanced hikers all along the lake . The Kanziani mountain, one of the most spectacular climbing mountains of carintia, with over an 300 different tours and up to 400 rope length, can be reached within 10 minutes. Our house is located next to a beautiful forrest and a lot of mountainbike trails pass by it.

The region Villach is also wonderful to visit in the winter months. A 15 km drive from our house away are two great skiing areas to choose from: the Gerlitzen Alpe and the Dreiländereck. Non-skiers can cross-country ski, ice-skate, or do curling. Several cross-country slopes pass directly by Faak, and some of the lakes around Faak freeze in the winter and thus allow activities mentioned above on the ice.

Our house is quite centrally and situated in the center of Hippach.

Within 2-3 minutes you reach the skis and Dörferbus stop, restaurants, sports stores, grocery stores, a bank as well as a pharmacy.

You have the complete infrastructure for a perfect vacation "in front of the door".

Our La Irmania guesthouse is idyllically situated in the middle of the forest between Petelin and Bleiberg.
You will find peace and relaxation on the large wooded property.
There is a beautiful brook to discover for the children.
Our house has 12 individually designed rooms, each with a balcony.
Our multi-bed rooms can accommodate families between 3 and 4 people.
Each room has a large bathroom. Breakfast is always included in the price.   There is a large parking lot for your car or motorcycle in front of the pension. We have a small workshop and a drying room for motorcyclists and cyclists.   Many interesting hiking and cycling tours start right opposite our house between
the 4 peaks of the Tabor, Petelin, Wauberg and Bleiberg.
We would be happy to provide you with hiking and cycling maps.  A tennis court and a soccer field are available for an extra charge and availability. Bicycles can also be rented on request.

As a member of ARGE Motorradland Kärnten, we offer you during your stay exclusive, 3 guided motorcycle tours free of charge. You can also purchase the panorama ticket from us. We are looking forward to your visit.
